San Antonio is the 7th largest city in America and the 2nd largest in Texas. San Antonio, which is nicknamed as “the Alamo city”, is located in southern part of Texas. The city is a famous tourist attraction with several cultural and historic attractions. It also offers a wide range of entertainment opportunities. The city attracts about twenty million visitors every year.

  • The Alama

    The Alama is one of the top 2 tourist attractions in San Antonio along with river walk. The Alama represents about three hundred years of history. In 1960, the United States government recognized the Alamo National Historic Landmark. The old mission, the place where 189 Texans fought against the army of General Antonio Lopez for 13 days, is the main attraction. The Alamo complex stretches over 4 acres and it attracts about 2.5 million tourists every year. Since 1905, The Alamo is being maintained by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

  • River walk

    River Walk or The Paseo del Rio is one of the most distinct attractions in San Antonio. The banks of the San Antonio River are lined with lush green foliage including tropical flowers, trees etc. There are also winding walkways, waterfalls and several charming bridges.  Bars, restaurants, shops, nightclubs hotels and shopping malls are lined across the river walk. There is no entrance fee for the river walk. However a river boat tour would cost you just above five dollars. On weekends, the river walk will be in a party mood.

  • SeaWorld San Antonio

    Sea World San Antonio is the largest marine life theme park in the world. It offers excellent family entertainment with its list of over twenty six amazing shows, educational experiences, thrilling rides and animal attractions. SeaWorld San Antonio is spread across about 250 acres and is made of 4 parks namely a ride and Slides Park, a show park, an amazing animal’s park and a water park.

  • The Buckhorn Saloon and Museum

    The Buckhorn Saloon and Museum is one of the best attractions in San Antonio. The museum consists of unique collections of cowboy memorabilia, strange artifacts and animal horns and is definite to make you wonder. You should not miss out on the lamb with 8 legs and the calf with 2 heads. It is situated just a 2 blocks away from the Alamo.
